Canada Post Setup

Modified on Thu, 8 Jun, 2023 at 3:23 PM

You can use the Canada Post desktop app (download here) with your existing Canada Post sign-in credentials for fast and easy printing. If you only have a few labels to print, it may be quicker to buy the postage from Canada Post on their website, using Snap Ship, and then print it in Adobe Reader using this simple tip.
For EST 2.0, follow these instructions to get started:

1. If you have already set up an online account with Canada Post, skip to the next step. If you have not yet set up an account, you can do so here.

2. Once you have sign-in credentials for your Canada Post online account, take note of them. You will need them later.

3. Download the Canada Post EST 2.0 desktop app here.
Once downloaded, install the software by clicking on the downloaded file "EST2.0Setup" and following the prompts. After the installation is complete, run the EST app on your PC.

4. Enter your online User ID and Password for your Canada Post shipping account.

5. You may be asked to enter your device configuration. If not, please go to Configuration > Device Configuration.

6. For Shipping Labels, select "LH-560 LABEL" as the printer, and "Thermal Paper" as the Paper Type.
7. Save and Close.
Tip:
To change the setting from Lettermail to Parcel Shipping, select an option from the top right of the screen, as shown:
